 Born and raised in Oxford, Dan is a proud fiancé and dad to two boys. With a decade of experience in recruitment, he has developed a deep understanding of the construction industry, having begun his journey in 2015 working across Central London.

After several successful years in the capital, Dan returned to his hometown of Oxford. In early 2024, following three months travelling the world with his family, he decided the time was right to build something of his own. Just six months in, he teamed up with James, who shared his vision for a more considered and comprehensive approach to construction recruitment. Together they founded Reginald Gray, delivering a full service recruitment solution across London and the South.

Outside of work, Dan is a passionate traveller and self confessed foodie, with Italy, Thailand, Brazil, and Western Australia among his favourite culinary destinations. As he moves into his 40s, he has also taken up road and trail running, with his sights set on some major events in 2026.

 Originally from Oxford, James began his professional life as an electrical engineer, specialising in high end residential projects before his career took a significant turn in 2007. Following a period travelling the world, he moved into construction recruitment and settled in London, where he built a robust network within the high end refurbishment and fit out market, an area in which he has since become a recognised expert.

In 2016, James took that expertise a step further by founding RSR Associates Ltd, running his own business before returning to Oxford and embarking on a new chapter. Joining forces with Dan, he co founded Reginald Gray with a shared ambition to build something more comprehensive and far reaching, expanding his network further across London and the South.

Outside of work, James is a dedicated husband and father of three. When he is not recruiting, you will find him in the garden, out fishing, or behind the wheel of a classic car on the race track
